Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has praised Harvey Elliott after a difficult week.
Elliott endured a difficult week after his nan passed away and unleashed plenty of emotion after scoring the second during the Reds' 9-0 win over Bournemouth.
“Harvey's ability speaks for itself; you only have to see him with the ball at his feet to see what a talent he is," wrote Henderson in his match programme notes.
"It is sometimes easy to forget that he is still a teenager, but he still is very young, so performing as well as he did in the situation he was in is something he and his family should be incredibly proud of.
“I know as his captain I was proud of him myself."
