Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers is willing to make a swap offer for Southampton pair Dejan Lovren and Adam Lallana. Rodgers has already raided St Mary's for Rickie Lambert.
The Mirror says he wants a twin deal for Lallana and Lovren - even though negotiations are deadlocked.
Southampton are demanding £30million for Lambert's fellow England World Cup squad member Lallana, despite indicating to the player they would allow him to leave for around £20m - which is close to Liverpool's limit.
Rodgers is even prepared to throw in striker Fabio Borini to bring down the price of the attacking midfielder.
