Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has spoken about the fitness of defender Virgil Van Dijk.
The German coach outlined the availability of his star defender, who came off at half time during a 3-1 loss to Brentford.
Van Dijk was substituted due to a niggle, but the injury is now feared as much worse.
He will be out for around a month with a hamstring issue, after tests revealed a serious injury.
Klopp told reporters this week: “Virg was a surprise for us and a big blow. The diagnosis was pretty harsh.
“It's more than a month, but I hope it goes quick. It's hard, but for him he has played an incredible amount of games in recent years."
