Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is delighted with the current form of Curtis Jones.
Ahead of their clash with Tottenham, Klopp was keen to talk up the homespun midfielder.
The manager said, "It's great to have him back as it it didn't look possible at one point with that freakish injury, but we have to be super careful with him.
"Even when he was back in training, he wasn't allowed back in normal training.
"When he could train again it was clear pretty quickly that the sessions were really good and he looked ready.
"I'm really happy for him and that he could show up again. He was in the squad because he had good quality and now you can see that.
"He's safe on the ball and his defence is good. He deserves this spell, he's had a tough time but he's got through it and is now in good shape."
On facing troubled Tottenham, Klopp also said: “Last night they played a similar system to what they've played for a while. The mentality boost is clear, the game could have gone either way.
“They had a massive chance at 1-0. That's how football is, it could have have gone either way. Lots of the platers who will face us played last night. That's what we'll prepare for."
