Liverpool boss Klopp: I don't hate Kompany - Maddison should've blocked his shot!

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he should 'hate' Burnley boss Vincent Kompany.

It was Kompany's goal against Leicester City that saw Manchester City win the 2018/19 Premier League title ahead of Liverpool.

Before facing Kompany's Burnley this weekend, Klopp said: “Yes, I forgave him for that a long time ago.

"There are a lot of people I should hate. Arjen Robben is one of them, but I don't hate him.

"The same goes for Vincent Kompany," Klopp continues. "I think there were more defining games that season. I still think Maddison should have blocked that shot. Vincent tried to clear the ball and the ball ended up in the goal."
