The People claim that Liverpool and bottom of the table QPR have opened discussions for Reds midfielder Joe Cole to join the West London outfit on loan. New QPR boss Harry Redknapp gave Cole his Premier League debut as a 17-year-old at West Ham.
The 31 year old has struggled to hold down a regular slot at Liverpool and spent last season on loan with Lille.
