Liverpool are not launching a bid for Ousmane Dembele this January.

TheLiverpool Echo claims the club have no interest in bidding for the Barcelona youngster, despite his uncertain future.

It was said the club would mount a £85 million offer for the French international.

But it appears the Reds are not only passing on Dembele, but on any other players in January. They are content with the strength of their squad for this season.

The only thing that may change the stance is a serious injury crisis.
