Mohamed Salah has won the Puskas Award with his strike against Everton last December.

The award came as a surprise with Gareth Bale's overhead kick in the Champions League final tipped to win the award.

Cristiano Ronaldo was also hotly tipped to take home the prized gong, with his goal against current club Juventus nominated.

In total, ten goals were nominated for the award.

Salah's goal against Liverpool's local rivals was a stunner. The Egyptian shrugged off two defenders on the right side of the penalty area before curling home a delightful strike into the top corner.
