Mohamed Salah says his winning desire remains after signing a new deal with Liverpool.

The Egypt striker is proud of his trophy haul, but still wants more.

"I've won almost everything with the team," Salah says of his success with Liverpool. “I didn't notice that until Trent [Alexander-Arnold] came up to me after the FA Cup final and said: 'By the way, we have won pretty much everything here'.

“So I think I have won almost everything at Liverpool, collectively and individually, but there is always room to win more and I always want to win something for a second or third or fourth time. That's my mentality."

On new teammate Darwin Nunez, Salah adds: "I'm so excited and I want to play with Nunez. He had a good season and played well against us, home and away [for Benfica in last season's Champions League].

“Sadio [Mane] has left and I'm going to miss him. He had great seasons with the club, so I wish him all the best. I wish Darwin all the best too, and to score many goals for us."
