Liverpool ace Sadio Mane admits manager Jurgen Klopp didn't let him know plans of selling Philippe Coutinho.
The Senegalese forward, who spoke to his boss to seek assurances over the amount of game-time he was going to get following Mohamed Salah's arrival.
"He said he had confidence in me, and that with time I would play to the point of exhaustion," said Mane, as reported by the Liverpool Echo.
"Even so, I told him I wanted to play.
"Klopp said he had to rotate his squad. There was also the fact Coutinho was close to leaving and he didn't want to tell me that straight out."
Coutinho was sold to Barcelona in January 2018.
