Lille manager Paulo Fonseca has some interest in replacing David Moyes at West Ham United.
The Scottish coach is under some pressure to retain his position with the Hammers beyond this term.
While they are not in immediate danger of relegation, given the plight of the teams below them, West Ham are unhappy with how this season has gone.
Per The Sun, Fonseca is assessing the situation at present with a view to making a summer move to England.
He wants to remain respectful to Moyes and will not talk with the Hammers until the Scotsman has confirmed his future.
If Moyes is sacked or chooses to depart, then Fonseca will be the first to initiate talks to take charge of the team.
