Lille defender Jose Fonte insists the players can handle the departure of two members of their coaching staff.

Nuno Santo and Joao Sacramento have quit LOSC in the last 48 hours to join the backroom team of Jose Mourinho at Tottenham.

Fonte said, "The departure of the two assistants? Everything happened so fast.

"But we who play football, we know that these are things that happen. We must adapt quickly. And that's what we will do.

"We have an important match tomorrow, we are focused on it."
