RacingLens midfielder Abdelhakim Omrani is set to trial with Newcastle United.
The 20-year old France youth international, who switched allegiance to Algeria in September, will link up with the Magpies and will be hoping to win a contract with the Magpies.
Omrani, who spent his youth academy days with Metz, Nancy and Lens, trialed with Bayern Munich in August but Lens and the Germans were unable to come to terms on a deal.
