On-loan winger Aaron Lennon has travelled with the Everton squad to Ukraine despite being ineligible for the Europa Cup clash with Dynamo Kyiv.
The 27-year old is ineligible to play for the Toffees in Europe's second tier club competition as he featured for parent club Tottenham earlier this season in the same competition.
Explaining the reason for taking Lennon to Kyiv, manager Roberto Martinez said: "It didn't work last time leaving him.
"He was so good against Leicester and then lost the dynamic of the group, and then against Stoke it was like a new player.
"On Sunday he was magnificent so I want him part of what we do even though he cannot play."
Everton holds a 2-1 lead over the Ukrainian club following last week's first leg win at Goodison Park.
