Leicester City have turned down Aston Villa's offer for left-back Christian Fuchs.

The Austrian has played a back-up role to Ben Chilwell this season.

Villa had wanted to sign Fuchs on a loan deal initially.

But the Foxes are unwilling to leave themselves short in the left-back department, according to Sky Sports.

The 32-year-old will be a free agent at the end of the season.
