Puebla have announced midfielder Emilio Tame has been trialling with Leicester City.

In a post shared by the Liga MX side's official Twitter account, Tame explained it is his 'dream' to play in Europe after spending time training with City.

He said: “For a team from Europe to follow me is a very important achievement. It is the dream of many.

“Football in England is very physical and I think it can be that player who goes to the clash and wins, the one who competes and from there the interest arose from Leicester to test me."

Tame, who holds dual nationally having been born in Spain, helped Puebla make history last season by playing a vital role in the club's under-17s league title triumph.

“That feeling of lifting the trophy, that you are a champion, is impressive and that you are achieving something historic for the club is an incomparable feeling," he added.

“In the under-17s it is very complicated, very competitive, the league, everyone wants to reach it and only one wins it."
