Leicester manager Rodgers worried about Pereira injury

Leicester City manager Brendan Rodgers is worried about Ricardo Pereira's latest injury.

The Portugal right-back hobbled off with an injury in Sunday's friendly win over Sevilla.

Rodgers said: "It was a disappointment with Ricky coming off. It doesn't look good but we'll see how that is. We had an awful injury here last year which set us back. We're hoping it might not be so bad but it doesn't look good."

Harvey Barnes also injured his knee in the second-half, with Rodgers adding: "We think it's okay.

"He just felt it was unstable, so there was no need to take the risk. This is a time of the season you don't need to force it. But sat on the bed there, he seems fine, and the medical team think he's fine, but we'll see how that is (on Monday)."
