Leicester legend King confident of Rodgers commitment

Leicester City legend Andy King has dismissed the 'uncertainty' around manager Brendan Rodgers.

Both Manchester United and Manchester City have been linked with the Northern Irishman.

King told Five Live's Friday Football Social: "I wouldn't say there's any uncertainty with the manager.

"I know for a fact that the manager has pulled the players before and re-established his commitment to the team, to the club.

"He can't control what the media are speculating, I know that he's pulled the players at the start and said 'look, my future is here, I want to work with this group of players' and things like that.

"From an outside perspective there's a lot of noise and maybe that has put more pressure on in terms of that it's heightened the fact that when it hasn't gone well, where normally it'd have been 'Leicester have lost a game' it's now 'Leicester have lost a game, is that because Brendan Rodgers might be going to Manchester United or Man City'.

"There's been more media speculation with it but I don't think in terms of the four walls of the Leicester training ground I don't think that's had a knock on effect of the results which haven't been as good as maybe in previous years."
