Leicester City are finalising a deal for Sporting CP attacker Adrien Silva.

The Mirror says Leicester have won their fight to sign Silva.

The Foxes have been sweating on a ruling from world governing body FIFA on the £22 million transfer of the midfielder — and it is set to be a positive one.

According to sources close to the deal, the move has now been given the green light.

Highly-rated Sporting Lisbon star Silva was hurriedly targeted as a replacement for fellow midfielder Danny Drinkwater, who left for Chelsea on deadline day in a £30m deal.
