Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers is determined to keep hold of Kasper Schmeichel this summer.
The Danish international has played a key part in Leicester stringing together a run of four back-to-back wins and Rodgers couldn't be happier with his No 1.
He told the Daily Star: “He's a player who impressed me before I came here but now I've had a chance to work with him and he's even better than I thought he was.
“He's a great shot stopper and has a great quality for making saves which is why he's here but he's also got wonderful ability with his feet in terms of how he helps build our game going forward.
“He's a player who is so important to us. I've been hugely impressed with Kasper, I have to say."
