Jamie Vardy could miss at least half of Leicester City's final four matches of the 2015/16 Premier League season.
The striker was sent off in the second half of Sunday's 2-2 draw with West Ham United after picking up a second yellow card.
The second of his bookings was for simulation when he appeared to dive in the area when under pressure from Angelo Ogbonna and the decision from refer Jon Moss attracted an irate response from the 29-year-old.
An automatic one-game suspension is on the cards but Vardy is facing a nervy time as he waits to see if Moss included his alleged abusive comments in his match report which could bring about a two of three-game suspension.
The Times claims that the FA will decide whether or not to take further action pertaining to Moss' report after he was supposedly called a 'f***ing c***t' by Leicester's leading goalscorer.
