Leeds United are closing in on Stoke City striker Cameron Jerome.

The Daily Mail says Leeds are hoping to negotiate a deal with Stoke today as manager Neil Warnock is eager to strengthen his attacking options and keep pace with the promotion chasers.

While the club's takeover inches closer there remain concerns over the future of players such as El Hadji Diouf who is out of contract in January and so far unable to agree terms on a new deal.
