Championship Leeds are understood to be favourites to sign Stoke striker Cameron Jerome on loan. Jerome was close to joining rivals Blackburn Rovers last week, but a deal was not finalised.
He has attracted interest from a host of other Championship clubs, including Bolton and Wolves.
