Leeds midfielder Tyler Adams says Willy Gnonto made the difference for victory at Liverpool on Saturday.

Gnonto made his debut for Leeds and the Italian played a part in the winner.

For Adams, he believes the win will be a turning point in their season. He told LUFCTV: "Yeah, obviously a good result for the team. I mean, where we were at before coming into this game, we said we needed a turning point within our season and I think we got it today.

"For the team in general, I think it's been a tough couple of months the past couple of months. We've tried hard to develop the team in the right way and taking nice steps forward, but we just haven't got the results, so today was a big one for us.

"We have a lot of self belief in our team, the manager has a lot of belief in all the players, obviously guys getting opportunities off the bench, making a big impact. Everybody played their best possible game tonight, I don't know how many subs we made but 14 or 15 good individual performances tonight to bring it all together.

"100 per cent [Leeds need to keep it going]. Consistency is the hardest thing to find in football and now we need to try and replicate that performance against every team in the league that we come up against. Next game we'll be at home at Elland Road so we're excited to go and try and replicate that."
