Leeds United have been encouraged in their pursuit of Club Brugge winger Noa Lang.
The Dutchman was left out of the Belgian outfit's squad for their match against Anderlecht with his situation proving fragile.
The Whites did make an attempt to sign the 23-year-old during the summer transfer window but Lang opted to stay in Brugge, a decision that is now looking to prove to be a mistake.
It is understood that Jesse Marsch is keen to recruit in the January transfer window in order to bolster his squad depth to compete in the Premier League and Lang could offer an alternative dynamic in the final third compared to the current options of Jack Harrison, Brenden Aaronson and Luis Sinisterra amongst others, says Leeds-Live.
Moreover, with his stock falling, United may be able to strike themselves a bargain with Brugge manager Philippe Clement deeming the winger surplus to requirements.
