Lecce chief: Vucinic will stay with Roma

Lecce say striker Mirko Vucinic will remain with Roma.

The Giallorossi ace is co-owned by Lecce and Roma, and the latter need to make a good offer if they want to sign him completely.

"The relationship between Roma and Lecce is good, and the Giallorossi are the favorite to sign Vucinic," said Lecce sports director Guido Angelozzi.

"We haven't negotiated his transfer with any other team, because we do not like to talk with many teams about one player.

"The player is in Rome, so it is up to them to make a move, but it is not a mystery why there are several big clubs interested.

"It is normal that outfits such as Real Madrid and Manchester United are interested. But Roma are a great team and I am convinced they will get him."
