Ex-Chelsea and France defender Frank Leboeuf has launched a furious attack on Barcelona striker Luis Suarez.

Lebouef says he's happy that Liverpool staged an epic fightback to dump their former forward out of the Champions League.

Speaking to RMC Sport, 1998 World Cup winner Leboeuf laid into the forward.

"I am a fan of Barcelona , but I was glad to see them eliminated on Tuesday because of Luis Suarez. I have no respect for a footballer like him," he said.

"He's a cheat and I hate the way he plays. If I had faced him, I would have done everything I could to get him off the pitch.

"What he did to Ghana at the World Cup, the two times he bit opponents. He's a bad example for young people."
