Burton Albion, who sit first in League One, are almost certain to get promoted and are well within their rights to have one eye on the title.
With a four-point advantage a game in hand over second-placed Wigan Athletic, the Brewers could stretch their points difference to seven if the Latics slip up, and increase their automatic promotion chances with an eight-point lead over third-place Gillingham.
Burton, under Nigel Clough, are in the box seat to make it back-to-back championships following last season's League Two triumph with Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink at the helm.
The second place will likely go to Wigan, as the DW Stadium outfit have adapted well following their relegation from the Championship. Gary Caldwell's team are a huge club in itself in League One, and I think they will spend only one season in the third tier before a return to the second division.
The play-off winner is most likely to be Millwall. Not only do they have experience of play-off finals before, but they have a hungry young manager in Neil Harris who has done a fine job since taking over permanently at The Den in March last year.
Walsall and Gillingham, who are likely to be in the mix at the end of the season, have both had excellent campaigns but are newcomers to a League One play-off battle, indicating that their mettle will be tested.
That is why the Lions will edge them to be the third and final team to promoted to the Championship.
