Lazio coach Tudor frustrated over lack of time with players

Lazio coach Igor Tudor is unhappy with the lack of preparation for the derby against Roma.

Lazio go into the clash after a midweek Coppa Italia semifinal defeat to Juventus.

Tudor said: "It wasn't a week, it was a few days. They had one day plus to prepare for the derby, on some things it's a good thing, on others it's bad. For us it's bad because we need to work, for other aspects it can be a good thing because it's less stressful to manage the emotions and pressures of the match.

"I haven't received good wishes from anyone. Statistics interest me up to a certain point, in the coach's work it is important to give a mentality to the team. It takes time, it is not a tactical thing.

"It must be worked on every day during training, you have to work by also choosing the players and exploiting the quality. Within the qualities there is also the mind of the players, I always work in the direction of a team that always behaves in the same way, both in case of victory and in case of defeat."
