Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi was pleased with victory over Parma.
A Ciro Immobile penalty and Joaquin Correa were the goalscorers for the 2-0 win.
“We knew it wasn't going to be an easy game, but the lads deserved this victory," Inzaghi told Sky Sport Italia.
“It required patience, as Parma are well-organised and solid in defence. We are fortunate to have options like Valon Berisha and Correa to come off the bench and change games.
“It's very positive for a Coach to have options he can choose from based on the situation. I chose Luis Alberto to start because this week he worked well in training, whereas Correa could make the most of spaces that opened up in the second half.
“Last season, we got everyone accustomed to big victories, but must realise that Serie A is far tougher this year and the average has levelled out."
