Lazio coach Maurizio Sarri insists he's not freezing out Daichi Kamada.

The summer arrival from Eintracht Frankfurt has struggled for minutes this season, but Sarri says he's in his plans.

He explained, "It's constantly talked about, I like him and I struggle to get him to play with Luis Alberto for many reasons, but he's a player that when he fully integrates he will be able to give a lot.

"We are not talking about a player who makes a few small appearances, but we have the hope that he will become important for us. The bad thing is that Luis Alberto is disqualified and Kamada will be in the national team and will return on Saturday."
