Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi admits he's disappointed by Stefan De Vrij's decision to leave.
The Holland international, off contract in June, has refused to settle on new terms with the Rome giants.
Lazio chief Igli Tare announced yesterday that negotiations were now over and that De Vrij will leave at the end of this season.
After last night's victory over Hellas Verona, Inzaghi confirmed: "We heard the news yesterday, I'm sorry because he's a great player, he made another choice.
"Tonight he was very good, probably on Thursday (he'll play). The important thing is to give 100% but I'm sure he's a boy of honour."
