Lazio assistant coach Martuscello rues Napoli point; praises Isaksen

Lazio assistant coach Giovanni Martuscello admits there was frustration after their 0-0 draw with Napoli.

Martuscello says they created the better chances on the day.

He said: "Let's say that in the first half we went into the game tight. In front of us there was a great team that makes dribbling one of its strengths. It was difficult, we mainly thought about not conceding the shots.

"In the second half, thanks to a show of courage, we raised the centre of gravity and the attackers were also good at recovering the ball. We didn't manage to score a goal but it was a good performance. We are happy because we showed our spirit even if we are disappointed about the score.

"Napoli also created little in the first half. In the second half Guendouzi played an important game, Vecino also made his contribution. On an individual level we are happy, we missed that pinch of malice in front of goal."

On Gustav Isaksen's performance, he said: "This is his margin for improvement, for a boy who comes from a different reality. Here greater importance is given to the tactical aspect and he has overcome the thinking phase.

'Now he is showing the characteristics for which he was chosen. And it's clear that being a young man has ups and downs, we're waiting for him to fully blossom."
