LaLiga new-boys Las Palmas are in talks with Barcelona for Julian Araujo.

The Mexico fullback is available from Barca and could move to Las Palmas on a season-long loan.

Araujo arrived midseason from LA Galaxy, but the deal was closed after the January transfer deadline fell, so leaving the defender to only train with Barca and Barca Atletic for the remainder of the campaign.

Araujo will move to Las Palmas in a straight loan, says Sport.

Barca management are yet to make a decision on the long-term future of Araujo, with the Las Palmas stint to be used as an extended trial.
