Rickie Lambert insists England can keep quiet new Liverpool teammate Luis Suarez when they face Uruguay this week.
Lambert believes his former club Southampton showed that Suarez can be contained - but admits it's very difficult to do so.
The new man at Anfield said: "Our defence at Southampton were superb against him but at St Mary's last season there was a ricochet to him when we were on top and he put it away.
"That changed the game. Is he containable? Yes but we know his strengths and you have to respect him massively.
"We'll be looking to nullify him but while the Southampton defence deserve credit for the way they played against him, he still caused us problems."
