LaLiga president Tebas hits back at Man City boss Guardiola: Learn macroeconomics

LaLiga president Javier Tebas has responded to criticism from Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.

Guardiola has criticised Tebas over the LaLiga's finances, insisting the clubs would be richer if the competition was sold better like the Premier League.

In response, Tebas said: "Pep, I learn every day from the Premier League, it would be good if they teach you a little macroeconomics of football, the effects of state clubs on wage inflation, demographics, China…

"And we will have news of the CAS acquittal."

Tebas was referring to the favourable judgments for Manchester City and PSG rendered by the Court of Arbitration in Sport (CAS) over financial fair play laws.
