LaLiga president Javier Tebas believes big money signings are unlikely this summer.
Tebas feels clubs will be watching their finances as they attempt to recover from the coronavirus suspension.
"Forget about transfers as before; try thinking about the youth squad and also loan players," he argued.
It's suggested money will have to be put towards extending expiring contracts so to complete the season.
Clubs have players with deals set to expire on June 30 (114 players in Primera and 271 in Segunda) and the season, if it can be finished, will be extended during the summer.
