Lacazette makes clear his opinion on Willock Arsenal future

Alexandre Lacazette is eager to see Arsenal keep hold of Joe Willock.

Willock was a revelation for Newcastle United during his six month loan spell this season.

After initially being used as a substitute by Steve Bruce, the 21-year-old went on to make a huge impact St James' Park, netting in seven consecutive Premier League matches to end the campaign.

He is the youngest player to achieve that feat and joins Alan Shearer as the only Toon player to score in that many games on the spin.

Steve Bruce has claimed Newcastle will look to test his parent club's resolve with a transfer bid, but there appears to be a clear feeling within the Arsenal dressing room that he should return.

Responding to an Instagram post from Willock, which read: “7 in 7 and 3 points.. @nufc we signing off in style. Newcastle fans thanks for rocking with me always", Lacazette replied, “What a player".
