LA Galaxy are preparing a bid for Roma midfielder Daniele de Rossi.

Galaxy want De Rossi for 2017, with Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard due to retire after this season.

Calciomercato.com says Galaxy are prepared to offer him a contract worth €7m per year.

This is not the first time De Rossi has been linked with a move to Major League Soccer.

He will turn 33 in July 2016 and it remains to be seen whether the Giallorossi will be open to letting him continue playing for much longer.
