Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly is desperate for coach Rafa Benitez to stay next season.

Benitez is off contract in June and being linked with a return to the Premier League.

The former Liverpool and Chelsea manager has been mentioned as a candidate for Newcastle United and West Ham United.

But Koulibaly says: "His is a personal matter, I would do anything to convince him to stay.

"But our performance and his performance is not affected by doubts about his stay in Naples."
