Manchester City skipper Vincent Kompany sees Bernardo Silva as a future club captain.

However, the Belgian has joked the midfielder needs to stop 'acting the clown'.

He joked with RMC: "I've already told him so many times, he's 50% clown and 50% leader, when he's only 25% clown and 75% leader, he will be the captain of this team.

"He is very strong and no one deserves more the captaincy than he."

For his part, Kompany has already stated he intends to play on next season.
