Holland coach Ronald Koeman has declared he WANTS the Barcelona job.
Barca are in talks with the Dutch federation about releasing Koeman from his contract. After axing Quique Setien on Monday evening, Barca want to install Koeman as new coach.
In Holland this morning, Koeman declared: "I can't say much at the moment, this is not a reasonable time to do that. There is no clarity yet."
Koeman, however, also says he would like to go to Barcelona.
"Yes, I would, that is clear. But it is only final when there is an agreement and the signatures are on paper. Whether it is a dream come true? If it continues yes. Shall we leave it at this...?"
But later on FOX Sports, Koeman also stated: "It goes to details. It could well come around today. I didn't expect it to happen that fast. In terms of timing it is always awkward.
“And it also gets a bit raw on my roof. But Barcelona is the only club that I had included as a clause in my contract. Silly for the KNVB, but not unexpected."
