New Southampton boss Ronald Koeman wants to make Graziano Pelle his first signing.
The Mirror says Koeman has launched an £8million bid for prolific Feyenoord frontman Pelle.
The 28-year-old Italian scored 50 goals in the last two seasons playing under Koeman for the Dutch giants.
And the Saints' new chief Koeman wants Pelle to replace Liverpool-bound Rickie Lambert on the south coast.
