Patrick Kluivert hopes Liverpool can beat Manchester City to the Premier League title this season.

Dutch pair Virgil van Dijk and Georginio Wijnaldum have played prominent roles for Liverpool this term.

And Kluivert is hoping his Dutch compatriots Van Dijk and Wijnaldum can get the job done.

“Well, in Liverpool they have two Dutch players of course, so for me Liverpool can win the title," he said on Sky Sports.

“It's a very big challenge for them because I think Manchester City are really putting the gas on the peddle."
