Former USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann is being linked with Rafa Benitez's job at Newcastle United.

France Football says Klinsmann is being lined up as the ideal man to come and fill the Magpies hotseat.

But Newcastle are not alone in their pursuit, with Everton also surprisingly aiming for the German's signature.

It would not be a shock for Marco Silva to leave Everton considering his short stints in English football.

He only lasted half the season at Hull before moving to Watford in May 2017, before being sacked in January 2018.
