Kieran Morrison is set to be handed a new contract by Liverpool.

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano is reporting the 17-year-old midfield talent is set to receive a new three-year contract.

The parties have already verbally agreed to continue working together, and the papers are expected to be signed in the coming days.

Last summer, the Northern Irishman was linked with a change of club, but Morrison is now an integral part of the U18s.

He has also played three times for the Reds' U21s.
