Kenedy on the mark as Getafe stun Ajax

Getafe stunned Ajax 2-0 in the first leg of the Europa League Round of 32.

Getafe won through goals from Deyverson and Kenedy.

The former opened the scoring in the first half and the latter sealed the victory late in the stoppage time, giving the Spaniards a two-goal advantage ahead of the second leg in Amsterdam.

Getafe pressed high up the pitch and Ajax struggled to build play from the back in the first half.

An excellently executed free-kick gave the home side the lead as Mathias Olivera teed up Deyverson whose first-time shot went past the opposition goalkeeper.

Getafe managed to absorb their rivals' pressure and netted a second goal three minutes into stoppage time.

Kenedy, who had come off the bench just five minutes earlier, went past a few Ajax defenders and unleashed a shot that was deflected and found its way into the back of the net.
