Keane: Man Utd didn't park the bus today

Former club captain Roy Keane praised Manchester United for their mentality against Liverpool this weekend.

The Red Devils were twice behind in their FA Cup quarter final at home against the Reds.

However, they went on to win 4-3 after a late winner from Amad Diallo at the death.

Keane stated on ITV post-game: “Man United were criticised a couple of months ago for going to Anfield to get nil all draw for parking the bus. They didn't park the bus today.

“It's huge. I think trying to get momentum into the season. If they'd lost today especially the second half the way the game was going to look like you're gonna lose the game. We keep talking about belief, belief in terms of winning big football matches you're at Man United to win big football matches.

“They've lost far too many this year. They've not turned up again in the big games that turned up today hopefully that will give the belief to the players and we look forward to the semi final draw."
