Tottenham defender Younes Kaboul was pleased with victory over Watford.
The central defender played the full 90 minutes and was rarely troubled alongside William Gallas and Jan Vertonghen in Lloyd Doyley's Testimonial at Vicarage Road.
"We started the game a little slow, in my view," Kaboul told the Spurs website. "We pushed on a bit more in the second half and were much better.
"In the second half we played a bit quicker and that makes a lot of difference.
"We need to get fit and that's most important. On top of that, we won 1-0, so it's a good day for us."
