Younes Kaboul was delighted to get a full game for Tottenham under his belt against South Africa's Orlando Pirates.

"It was an amazing atmosphere," Kaboul told the official Spurs website. "I felt right at home and think I integrated with the team and my team-mates straight away.

"The Pirates played well with the ball and held it up well. We were better than them in almost every department though and I think that showed throughout. We were patient and at the end of the match, the result was right, we deserved to win.

"The pitch was very good, even though they play rugby here, the surface was very good. I am sure that rain helped and it made for a good game."
